Terms of Service
Last updated 8 September 2026
These terms are the agreement between you and TheQnA for the use of theqna.co.uk and the game on it. Using the site means accepting them.
Who we are
TheQnA is operated by TheQnA. Contact: hello@theqna.co.uk.
Accounts
You need to be 13 or over to create an account. Keep your password to yourself; you are responsible for what happens under your account. Give a real email address — it is the only way to reset a password or reach you about the account.
Using the game
TheQnA is for playing a quiz with people in a room. You may not:
- copy, extract, scrape or redistribute the questions and answers;
- resell access, or run the game as a paid event without permission;
- attack the site, or try to reach data that is not yours;
- submit reviews that are not your own honest experience.
The questions, artwork, wording and code are owned by TheQnA and licensed to you for personal use only.
Reviews
A review must be your own genuine experience of the game. Reviews are read before they are published, and one that is not genuine, is abusive, or identifies someone else will not be. Submitting a review gives TheQnA permission to publish it on the site with the name you gave.
Credits and payment
Games are played with credits bought through the site. Prices are shown before purchase and include VAT where it applies. Payment is handled by our payment provider; card details never reach TheQnA.
Credits are digital content supplied immediately. You normally have 14 days to cancel a purchase of digital content, but that right is lost once supply begins — by asking for the credits immediately you agree to that and acknowledge the loss of the cancellation right. Unused credits can be refunded within 14 days of purchase; used ones cannot. Nothing here affects your rights if the service is faulty, not as described, or not supplied with reasonable care and skill.
Credits do not expire unless the site closes, in which case unused credits bought in the previous 12 months will be refunded.
What is not promised
The site is provided as it is. It is not guaranteed to be available without interruption, and questions may be added, changed or removed. This does not limit liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law.
Ending it
You can stop using the site and delete your account at any time. Access may be suspended or ended for a serious or repeated breach of these terms; where that happens and credits are unused, they will be refunded.
Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts there have jurisdiction. If you live elsewhere in the UK you keep the right to bring a claim in your own courts.
Changes
These terms may change. The date at the top changes with them, and continuing to use the site after a material change means accepting it.
